The ONENeoperl Champions Program

The ONENeoperl Champions Program is organized every two years, lasting a little over a year, and is split into four milestone meetings, called “Gates”. The first cycle of the current Program started in December 2022 with 23 promising participants from various Neoperl locations, departments, and with different professional backgrounds. The champions were divided into four teams, each assigned with a different project to work on.
Similar to the › Ability Flow Analysis, the ONENeoperl Champions Program focuses on different aspects of employee development. Supported by coaches and sponsored by the Board, the three main goals of this specific Program are Individual Development, Team Development, and Networking.
To aid with reaching Program objectives, the four projects are based on strategic development needs in the areas: digitalization, communication, and optimization.

Individual Development

From the beginning of the Program, the champions explore concepts of personality-based self-assessment by considering their role within their teams. Additionally, the Program offers trainings, such as ‘Strategic Thinking and Planning’, ‘Storytelling’, which teaches participants how to create engaging presentations, ‘Be on Stage’, which focuses on effective stage presence, and ‘Agile Project Management’.
All this gives participants the chance to acquire new knowledge, which allows them to identify areas for improvement to work towards becoming a well-rounded professional.

Team Development

Participants collaborate closely with their team members, both during and between the Gates. The teams regularly discuss project progress, fostering an environment of productive teamwork. Moreover, the Program encourages bonding through various team-building activities. This is why the first Gate was an in-person event, supporting the champions in finding their footing in this new journey.

Networking

The diverse range of participants provides ample opportunities to build lasting connections. Furthermore, the champions engage with the company owners and board members, who play an active role in the Program. All the teams bonded over the duration of the Program by creating professional relationships that transcend their immediate projects.
